The Antistax® Leg Health Centre is overseen by a steering committee of leg health experts.
The role of the steering committee is to advise on content for the Antistax® Leg Health Centre, based on their field of expertise and experience of helping people with leg complaints. They will also provide the latest research and thinking on leg health issues.
The Steering Committee comprises:
Dr Eckhard Schaefer, chair of the Antistax® Leg Health Centre steering committee
Dr Schaefer is an expert scientist with more than 22 years experience in healthcare. As medical advisor for Antistax®, he is specialised in indication areas related to leg vein disorders (phlebology), blood circulation (angiology) and gynaecology.
Dr Schaefer is the chair of the Antistax® Leg Health Centre steering committee. His role includes coordinating with the professional committee to review materials / documents published by the Antistax® Leg Health Centre and the provision of advice for the Centre on topics relevant to consumers everyday leg health issues.
