A poor diet can trigger common leg health issues by putting extra pressure on your veins and arteries.
The keys to a healthy diet are:
Reduce the amount of fatty foods you eat
Try not to add too much salt to food as this can raise your blood pressure and clog your arteries
Eat plenty of fiber
Eat a wide range of foods to make sure you're getting a balanced diet
Drink enough water - between 6 to 8 glasses a day - and increase the quantity when temperatures increase or in hotter climates
Aim for regular meals - smaller and more frequent meals are often best for keeping blood sugar levels steady and avoiding energy dips
Foods rich in vitamin C will help make vein walls strong and medications / supplements containing bio-active flaven can also help
