Leg issues - lifestyle factors

Travel: whether we’re waiting at a bus stop, sitting for hours on a train, or flying around the world, the majority of journeys we take have an impact on our legs. Low air pressure in airplane cabins and high altitude countries can put your legs at risk because it makes veins expand and the blood flow more slowly. Rather than avoiding airplane travel altogether, drink plenty of water during the flight, avoid excess alcohol and keep moving.

Luckily there are a number of exercises you can do while traveling that can keep the blood pumping around your veins and alleviate symptoms of painful legs.
