How legs work

Structure of your legs

Blood circulation
Your leg veins

Legs are made up of a complex system of bones, muscles, skin, veins and arteries which work hard to support you through your busy day.

Our legs are under a lot of pressure, especially when you think that on average, we walk about 9,000 steps a day. In fact, ever since we human beings stood up on our own two feet, our legs have had to battle against the pull of gravity. This is particularly true of the leg veins.
